The American Music Awards, or AMAs, aired on November 21, 2022, from Los Angeles, California!
There were plenty of exciting moments throughout the night. Many artists gave incredible performances, including Pink, Anitta & Missy Elliott, Carrie Underwood, Imagine Dragons & JID, and more.
Taylor Swift ended the night with six awards, bringing her AMA total to 40. She’s currently the most-awarded artist for the AMAs.
Other key winners included Dove Cameron (“New Artist of the Year”), BTS (“Favorite K-Pop Artist” & “Favorite Pop Duo or Group”), Beyoncé (“Favorite Female R&B Artist” & “Favorite R&B Album”), and Harry Styles (“Favorite Male Pop Artist” & “Favorite Pop Song”). Plus, Lionel Richie received the Icon Award – and we all got to enjoy an incredible performance in his honor from a variety of artists like Charlie Puth, Jimmie Allen, and Stevie Wonder.
