The 2021 Billboard Music Awards Show was an exciting night, full of great performances and inspiring speeches! The event was held on May 23 in Los Angeles and was hosted by Nick Jonas.

The Weeknd

came in with 16 nominations and ended up winning 10 awards, including Top Artist and Top R&B Song (“Blinding Lights“). Taylor Swift won 2 awards while BTS took home 4 trophies of their own. Country singer Gabby Barrett was nominated for 9 awards and ultimately beat out Carrie Underwood and Maren Morris for Top Country Female Artist. And the late Pop Smoke won 5 awards, including Top New Artist.

During the show,

Pink

was honored with the Icon Award and Drake was named Artist of the Decade.

There were incredible performances throughout the night by artists like AJR, Doja Cat ft SZA, Bad Bunny, Glass Animals, and Jonas Brothers with Marshmello, just to name a few.
